Each year Kids In Need sponsors a number of fund-raising events to benefit the immediate needs of children who have lost one or both of their parents under extreme or sudden circumstances. Kids In Need works to provide for kids at their absolute moment of crisis.
And this year a special event has been jointly organized by Marc DeLise, retired
40 year Police Lieutenant Veteran and a Kids In Need executive, in collaboration
with associated Police and Firemen and philanthropy agencies.
This year's special fund raising walk event, duly
named "The Road To Remember" will serve in part as a preparatory process to remembering
the victims, the families and friends of those who died, and to honor the heroes
of that infamous September day.
And make no mistake about it,
first and foremost it does not end there for Kids
In Need
For there were more than 3,051 children who lost
their parents on that fate filled day and this year's special fund raising walk
event is for the children who were left behind, for the families that were left
behind and in honor of those who have sacrificed to save lives and serve their
country every day since 9 11.
The Road To Remember is
never allowing for any of them to be forgotten.
We welcome the participation of everyone. Police,
Firemen, Military, other agency groups, our Kids In Need staff,
our friends, our families, as well as generous corporate
friends and families from all over the country are
encouraged to participate in this special walk event.
Take your first step on the Road to Remember by registering
