Police Set New Fundraising Record! If anyones
guilty, its the Oak Brook Fraternal Order of Police Lodge
#213. Guilty, that is of sponsoring the most entertaining and successful
fundraising dinner in KINs four-year history.
Held
at the Butterfield Country club, the Oak Brook F.O.P., Oak Brook
Fire Department, corporate sponsors, and teachers were all recognized
for their involvement with Kids In Need. A special tribute was given
to the event chairman, Sgt. Marc DeLise for receiving the Law Enforcement
Medal of Honor recently presented to him by Governor George Ryan.
The guests had plenty of reasons to celebrate as they mixed and
mingled during cocktails, enjoyed dinner, and let it all out on
the dance floor.
The
raffle prizes were the best yet, said Tom Russell a regular
KIN dinner guest. Thank you Sgt. DeLise and the Oak Brook F.O.P.
Lodge #213 for raising more than $60,000 this year.
