About Kids In Need Scholarships
Kids In Need (KIN) is able to award scholarships on an annual basis to promising high school graduates.
Eligible students are selected based on the information they provide on an application, a personal essay, academic performance, extracurricular activities, work experience, goals, and demonstrated financial need. Special consideration is always given to applicants who have experienced parental separation or loss.
An independent firm collects the applications and makes the scholarship decisions. To be considered, applicants must be current high school seniors planning to enroll as full-time students at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or technical school in the U.S. Applicants must possess at least a “C” cumulative grade point average, and demonstrate a need for financial assistance.
